In a manner of speaking

Growing up in your twenties makes you lose a little inconsiderateness, tenderness and looseness. As a little kid it's really normal to cuddle and feel the warmth on your skin from your parents. And as a teenager you are used to comb each others hair and or sleep with your three nieces in one bed, talking all night long.
The young Australian (teenager) photographer Nirrimi Joy Firebrace brings exactly this intense feeling back right and touched me really deep. I only had to watch her pictures to get an intense experience. She takes her photographs extremely near, in a way you are believing you were there too in the exact moment of contact
The other images in this post are from the magazine 'Interview' that shooted actresses Lea Seydoux & Adele Exarchopoulos in a for me similar way of intensity. Of course related to the movie: La Vie D'Adele.
Please Njoy. And don't forget to watch the POST LIFESTYLE VIDEO.

In a Manner of speaking
I just want to say
That I could never forget the way
You told me everything
By saying nothing
In a manner of speaking
I don't understand
How love in silence becomes reprimand
But the way that i feel about you
Is beyond words

  1. This post is amazing, Emilie <3 Thanks for discovering me Nirrimi's photography. I saw once or twice some of her photos in tumblr, uncredited, so it's great to have finally find out the author of these. And you're so right about the feeling on them, the sensibility they have, the portrait of skin, and touch is really similar to La vie d'Adèle and that photoshoot with Léa and Adèle is one of my favorites, and amazing piece of work. And the song from Nouvelle Vague is the perfect addition to make this even more perfect.
